Mega Millions Winning Numbers: Did Anyone Win The Friday, April 8 Jackpot?

Although the Mega Millions lottery drawing on Friday didn’t result in a winner for the $94 million jackpot, some players were able to become instant millionaires.

The winning numbers pulled on Friday, April 8, were 8, 11, 29, 32, 40, with a gold Mega Ball of 2. The Megaplier was 3X.

The Friday night jackpot was worth an estimated $94 million with a cash value of $57.9 million.

The unclaimed Mega Millions jackpot has now grown to an estimated $106 million with a cash value of $65.3 million. The next Mega Millions lottery drawing will be held on Tuesday, April. 12, at 11 p.m. ET.

On Friday, a player from Washington and two players from Michigan hit the Match 5 and won $1 million each. One of those winning tickets was purchased at the Hillman EZ Mart in the town of Hillman, Michigan.

However, the players missed out on the chance to win $3 million by matching five numbers with the 3X Megaplier.

Aside from the instant millionaires of the night, several players managed to win smaller monetary prizes. There were 13 players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball that won $10,000.

Meanwhile, five players hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with the 3X Megaplier, winning $30,000 apiece. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1500.

Mega Millions winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who select the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
