Mega Millions Winning Numbers: Did Anyone Win The Friday, May 13 Jackpot?
The Mega Millions jackpot has grown after the Friday night lottery drawing, due to no winners for the $99 million grand prize. However, there were plenty of small wins that resulted from the latest drawing.
The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Friday, May 13 were 11, 41, 43, 44, 65, with a gold Mega Ball of 13. The Megaplier was 3X.

Since there were no grand prize winners for the Tuesday night drawing of $99 million with a cash value of $57.4 million, the jackpot went unclaimed.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $112 million with a cash option of $64.9 million. The numbers will be drawn on Tuesday, May 17.
Despite there being no grand prize lottery winners on Friday night, one player managed to become an instant millionaire. A ticketholder in Texas won $1 million after hitting the Match 5.
However, the player didn’t match the five numbers using a Megaplier and missed out on winning a $3 million prize.
Meanwhile, nine players hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning $10,000 each.
There were no players who matched four numbers plus the gold Mega Ball with a Megaplier, which would have resulted in a $30,000 prize. The other wins from the night ranged between $2 and $1,500.
The latest drawing comes after Mega Millions host John Crow incorrectly read the Mega Ball number during the Tuesday night drawing.
Crow read the first five numbers correctly, but when the gold Mega Ball was selected, the number 9 with a line drawn on it rolled out. However, Crow incorrectly called out the number 6.
Although the lottery later realized the error and suspended payments, some players in New York who had tickets with a Mega Ball of 6 were paid.
“Due to human error relating to the May 10, 2022 Mega Millions draw, the New York Lottery paid a total of $5,538 to players who presented tickets with the incorrect winning number to retailers before approximately 10 a.m. on May 11,” the lottery said in a statement.
“This payment was recouped automatically via a Lottery account for uncashed tickets. There is no impact on aid to education or taxpayer funds.”
Mega Millions winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.
Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
