The Mega Millions lottery drawing on Tuesday did not result in any winners for the $73 million jackpot. However, there were several smaller wins that came from the night.

The winning Mega Millions numbers pulled on Tuesday, Oct. 12, were 21, 26, 56, 61, 65, with a gold Mega Ball of 4. The Megaplier was 3X.

The latest jackpot was worth an estimated $73 million with a cash option of $50.7 million. The next lottery drawing for the Mega Millions will take place on Friday, Oct. 15, at 11 p.m. EST and will be worth an estimated $84 million with a cash value of $58.4 million.

Along with there being no grand prize winner following the Tuesday night pull, there were no instant millionaires.

Players who would have hit the Match 5 would have won $1 million. Meanwhile, players who would have matched five numbers with the 3X Megaplier would have won $3 million.

There were nine players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball and won $10,000 each. Meanwhile, there were only two players who matched four numbers plus gold Mega Ball with the 3X Megaplier, winning $30,000. Other players from the night won prizes ranging from $2 to $1,500.

The latest drawing comes a week after a woman from Florida won $2 million from Mega Millions twice. Susan Fitton, 64, claimed her $4 million prize on Sept. 14 after matching five numbers with both of her tickets.

The odds of winning $1 million from the lottery drawing is one out of 12,607,306.

Mega Millions winners who hit the lottery jackpot have the option of receiving their grand prize through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
