The next Mega Millions lottery drawing will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 11 p.m. EST.
On Friday, one player from Indiana took home $1 million by matching five numbers. However, the player would have taken home $3 million if they would have played the Match 5 with the 3X Megaplier.
There were 12 players who hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball that won $10,000. However, only two players matched four numbers plus gold Mega Ball with the 3X Megaplier, winning $30,000. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1,500.
The latest drawing comes after a family in Lake Havasu City, Arizona claimed a winning Mega Millions ticket for $108 million.
The three family members, which consisted of a man, his wife, and her brother, chose to remain anonymous and opted for the cash option of $75.2 million. The ticket was sold on Oct. 20 at a local bar.
The group revealed they typically play $60 a week and happened to win the grand prize during the drawing that took place last week. While the trio doesn’t have any big plans for the money at the moment, the women revealed they would leave their jobs when the time was right.
For now, the couple wants to pay off their mortgage, take a cruise, buy a new vehicle and financially assist their children. Meanwhile, the brother would like to take a trip to the Maldives.
Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
