Mega Millions Winning Numbers: No Grand Prize Winner, Jackpot Grows To $379M

​​There were no grand-prize winners of the Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday night's lottery drawing, which was worth an estimated $354 million with a cash value of $189.3 million. However, several players around the country won smaller monetary prizes from the latest drawing.

The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Tuesday were 15, 16, 19, 28, and 47, with a gold Mega Ball of 13. The Megaplier was 3X.

Since the jackpot went unclaimed, it will climb to $379 million with a cash option of $202.6 million. The next jackpot drawing will take place Friday evening.

While no one picked up the grand prize, there was one Match 5 winner. A player from Mississippi won $1 million but did not purchase the Megaplier and missed out on the chance to increase their prize to $3 million.

Aside from the million-dollar prize, 24 players won $10,000 each by hitting the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball. However, only seven players used a Megaplier, tripling their prize to $30,000. The rest of the Mega Millions prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1,500.

The latest jackpot comes after a player in Virginia claimed a $1 million prize. The winning ticket was purchased in Salem at the Salem Mini-Mart. The business will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Garland Hare bought the lucky ticket prior to a trip overseas. Once he landed at his destination, he learned he was an instant millionaire. Hare plans to use his prize money to pay bills and travel.

Mega Millions winners can receive their jackpot win through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. ET.
