Mega Millions Winning Numbers: No Grand Prize Winner, Jackpot Grows To $50M
The Mega Millions game had a historic January with four jackpot wins in a single month for the first time in the game's 21-year history. However, February has failed to follow suit after the Tuesday drawing did not produce a jackpot winner for the $31 million grand prize with a $16.4 million cash value.
The winning Mega Millions numbers drawn on Tuesday were 9, 15, 46, 55 and 57, with a gold Mega Ball of 4. The Megaplier was 2X.

Since the prize went unclaimed, the jackpot will rise to $50 million with a cash option of $26.4 million for the Friday drawing.
Two players became instant millionaires following the latest lottery drawing. A player from Illinois and another from Missouri hit the Match 5 and won $1 million each. However, the ticket-holders missed the chance to increase their prize to $2 million by not purchasing the Megaplier.
Thirteen players won $10,000 by hitting the Match 4 plus the Mega Ball. Meanwhile, only two of those players scored $20,000 by matching four numbers with the Mega Ball and the Megaplier. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1,000.
The latest lottery game comes after a player in Washington hit the Powerball jackpot, which was worth an estimated $754.6 million with a $407.2 million cash value, in the Monday drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at a Fred Meyer in Auburn and will result in a $50,000 selling bonus for the retailer.
Mega Million jackpot winners can receive their grand prize winnings through either a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
Mega Millions can be played in 45 states as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
