Megan Fox Responds To Baby Daddy Rumors In Joking Instagram Post, Confirms Pregnancy

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” star Megan Fox responded to speculation about the paternity of her unborn child with a tongue-and-cheek Instagram post Tuesday. She took a “Maury Povich” approach and captioned the image, “not the father.”

The photo had a picture of three of her recent male co-stars: “Transformers” actor Shia LaBeouf, “Lego Movie” star Will Arnett and “New Girl” actor Jake Johnson. She didn’t include an image of estranged husband Brian Austin Green, who E! Online confirmed was the father of baby No. 3.

Fox’s Instagram post garnered more than 40,000 likes from her 2.6 million followers within two hours. The image also incited hundreds of comments from fans. Most followers laughed at the post and others congratulated the star on her pregnancy and off-beat way of confirming it. Fox didn’t elaborate any further, like how far along she was or if she knew the gender of the child.

The pregnancy doesn’t mean her divorce to the former "90210" star is off, though; it will just be prolonged. The couple split in August and then filed paperwork in January. It "will likely be put on hold for a while,” an insider told E! Online Tuesday. "This pregnancy was not planned, but when they found out they were extremely happy."

Despite their differences, Fox, 29, and Green, 42, remain close. "Megan and Brian love being parents," the source said. "They are working really hard to be together and one unit — not only for their children, but also for each other. They are looking forward for the arrival of their new baby." Plus, Fox knows she can trust Green, who has "been a great partner and father."

News of Fox’s pregnancy made waves after she showed up to the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas Monday sporting a baby bump. She didn’t talk about her pregnancy while promoting her new movie, which will premiere in theaters nationwide Friday, June 3, 2016.
