Megan Fox Talks Sexy Roles, Veganism, and Marilyn Monroe [PHOTOS]
Megan Fox has had a lot to defend lately.
Not one to censor her choice of words, Fox has come out in defense of Hollywood starlets taking on sexy movie roles saying: In reality, there are a lot of guys whose initial attraction to a girl is mostly sexual so I don't feel that's an outrageous thing to portray in a movie.
The 25-year-old is currently trying to prove herself to be more than just a pretty face. Personally, I don't feel strongly about those kinds of roles either way. I take each on it's own merits as a character.
Fox lost out on the Transformers 3 role to Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Fox had blasted Michael Bay in an interview, referring to him as Hitler. And rumors spread that the actress was difficult to work with on set.
Although, after the DVD release on Sept. 30, many have taken to Twitter to say that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is no Megan Fox.
She recently filmed Friends With Kids, with Kristen Wiig, John Hamm, and Chris O'Dowd, which premiered in Sept. at the Toronto Film Festival.
Fox also speaks up about her weight loss. In an interview with Amica Magazine, Fox admitted that she lost an extreme amount of weight following a strict vegan diet. For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables.
Of course, the stunner never needed to drop a single ounce. But nowadays, she claims to be eating a healthier, more well-rounded diet and is sporting a curvier figure.
Finally, the brunette bombshell said that she is ditching her Marilyn Monroe tattoo. She has been undergoing laser treatments to remove the very visible ink from her forearm. 'I'm removing it. It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar...I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life, Fox told Amica Magazine, as reported by Daily Mail.
When asked about life with hubby Brian Austin Green, Megan reportedly responded, When I was first with Brian it was harder for people to deal with because I was 18, and that sounds very young and it is very young. He was 31, and that is a huge difference. But now I think it sounds less so, 25 and 38. It doesn't sound so crazy because people expect that at 25 you're at least more of a formed human.
And It certainly seems like the actress is becoming a more formed human by shedding her once rebellious persona for a much more grounded version of herself. We love her either way.
