Megan Rossee Is Michael Phelps’ Girlfriend, Sources Confirm Model Is Dating Olympic Swimmer [PHOTOS]

After speculation for the past week as to whether or not Megan Rossee is Michael Phelps' girlfriend, sources have confirmed that the blonde model is indeed dating the Olympic gold-winning swimmer and not just recently, but for months.

Phelps, who won his 22nd career medal at the 2012 London Olympics, has always been quiet about his relationships, but has recently roused speculation about his connection to 25-year-old model and waitress Rossee.

According to E! News, Rossee is indeed 27-year-old Phelp's new girlfriend, an unnamed source confirmed to the website.

Lately, the pair has been active on social media, tweeting back and forth and posting Instagram photos together. They've also made their first official public appearance together on Monday at the Speedo Athlete Celebration at Kensington Roof Gardens in London in addition to other spottings during the Olympics, prompting said sources to speak out.

The source also said their relationship has been blossoming for months as Rossee and Phelps have been dating since January.

"She and Phelps began dating in January (2012) and things started to heat up just prior to the Olympics," a separate source confirmed to Hollyscoop.

And things appear to continue warming up, as evident in the photos Rossee posted on Sunday of herself cuddling with Phelps with the caption, "Yay Michael."

So who exactly is Phelps' new squeeze, who has seen her personal website crash recently due to the influx of interest?

As listed in her model profile online, Rossee is a 5'9" Los Angeles-based model/actress.

"I am super easy going and pretty much down for any type of project (that doesn't involve nudity)," she wrote on her Model Mayhem profile. "I love what I do and hope to further my career as a model as well as a performer."

But Rossee may be taking a break from her career while amidst her relationship with Phelps.

"This summer has turned out to be very busy for me, so I am no longer accepting [modeling opportunities] unless hair/makeup or wardrobe are provided, or if the project is something my portfolio is lacking," she wrote. Hollyscoop reported that instead of modeling, Rossee is tailing Phelps around during the Olympics.

"Michael knew that he had to leave for the Olympics and not wanting to give up on their relationship, he flew Megan out to the trials in Omaha and then to London for the Games," Hollyscoop quoted the source as saying.

According to People, Rossee is also "an avid soccer player" and works as a cocktail waitress at a Hollywood nightclub, Blok.
