Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot on May 19, 2019. The couple announced the Duchess of Sussex’s first pregnancy while they were in Australia in October of the same year.

This means that Markle and Prince Harry have already been married for two to three months when they found out that they would become parents. But on the online forum site Quora, some royal fans are convinced that the “Suits” alum was already pregnant when she got married.

David Byrne, a follower of the royal family, said that the former actress was absolutely and totally pregnant when she tied the knot. More specifically, she was already four weeks pregnant, and Prince Harry knew about it.

“That is one of the reasons that Meghan worked so hard to stick it to her father to get him to pull out of the wedding with his fake heart attack. It made them laugh that Prince Charles would then walk a pregnant woman down the aisle in front of billions of people and not know a thing about it,” he said.

But Byrne was only being sarcastic. He said that if Markle was pregnant when she got married to Prince Harry, this would mean that she was pregnant for 14 months. However, pregnancies only last up to nine months.

One Markle supporter thought that Byrne’s response wasn’t meant to be sarcastic. Janine Blackburn said that it’s shocking how some people say Markle’s pregnancy was too long while others would say that she sported a fake baby bump.

Another royal fan explained to Blackburn what Byrne was trying to say.

“He’s not hating on Meghan; he’s making fun of the question. What he is saying that the gestation of a human being takes nine months and little Archie was born fourteen months after Harry and Meghan married. So there is no way she was pregnant when they married,” Cheryl Clair said.
