Meghan Markle Always Wears High Heels With Prince Harry For This Reason

Meghan Markle always wears high heels whenever she’s with her husband, Prince Harry, and the reason why she does so has finally been revealed.

Glenn Gratton, a celebrity photographer, told Express that Markle wearing high heels has to do with her and Prince Harry’s height difference. “Couples with a big height difference look slightly unbalanced in pictures, and often the smaller of the two ends up looking even smaller and is constantly looking up at their partner. Rod Stewart and his wife Penny have a large gap but this is minimized by Rod wearing Cuban heels and Penny not wearing super high heels. In the case of Harry and Meghan, she will be wearing high heels to maximize her height and shorten the gap if possible,” Gratton explained.

However, Markle doesn’t only make an illusion about her height by wearing high heels. The former “Suits” star also wears pencil skirts and high-waist skirts or pants to make it seems as though she is taller than her actual height.

“Careful use of wardrobe choices will be important for Harry and Meghan to make sure the couples’ height difference is minimized. The shape of skirts also gives the optical illusion to make her look taller than she actually is. Red carpet pictures can be exaggerated as they will be shot on a wide angle lens and it makes the height difference look more than it is,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton has been photographed wearing flat shoes or sneakers during her public engagements with Prince William. Gratton said that this is because Middleton is quite tall for an average British woman. As such, her height is not very far from her husband Prince William. Middleton and Prince William also look good in photos because of their height.

As of late, Markle has yet to be seen wearing flat shoes or sneakers. During her recent trip to Dublin, Ireland, Markle wore stilettos while with Prince Harry.
