On Wednesday morning, a new clip of Meghan Markle surprised those who follow the SmartWorks Instagram page. In the new post, the Duchess of Sussex gave some advice to a young woman as she was getting ready to interview for a position with the charity.
In the video, the former "Suits" actress told her that she seemed "incredibly confident and prepared" leading up to her interview. She then asked the hopeful about her interest in mental health, which is a cause that her husband, Prince Harry, has also committed some of his time to in the past.
Continuing, Meghan added that she was crossing her fingers that the opportunity would be beneficial for her. She then said that with "so much going on in the world right now," it's important to be a "beacon of hope." Furthermore, the Duchess advised that she should focus on "getting through it" and offered positivity.
At the end of the conversation, she added that the charity's important work helps so many people and "that's what it's all about." As a result of the positive effect they've had, she concluded that she's been "really proud" to be their patron.

The recent discussion is not the only time that the Duchess of Sussex has given a nod to a variety of charities over the course of the past year. Not only did she order a birthday cake from a specific bakery that "teaches women who are homeless, have been in the prison system, are victims of domestic violence, or in the sex trade, how to bake - and find employment," but she also spent time at a special initiative during her 2019 royal tour of Africa with the Duke of Sussex.
