Meghan Markle Could Receive A Push Present From Husband Like Kate Middleton
Meghan Markle could receive a push present from Prince Harry just like what Kate Middleton got from Prince William.
According to Kathryn Knight, a journalist for Express, push presents are thought to be a tradition in the royal family. The Duchess of Sussex is expected to receive one from her husband, Prince Harry, once she delivers their firstborn.
Middleton received a push present from Prince William when she gave birth to their three children: 5-year-old Prince George, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and 8-month-old Prince Louis. The Duke of Cambridge gave Middleton a circular pendant inscribed with their firstborn’s full name, George Alexander Louis, after welcoming the third-in-line to the throne.
Middleton received another push present from her husband after welcoming Princess Charlotte. Prince William got the Duchess of Cambridge a pair of tourmaline, green amethyst and diamond earrings designed by Kiki McDonough that cost about $3, 790.
It is not known what Prince William gave to Middleton after the birth of Prince Louis. However, there were speculations that he got his wife a citrine ring, which was photographed during the couple’s Wimbledon date. However, some insiders claimed that Middleton was first photographed with the said band when she celebrated her 26th birthday in January 2008.
Middleton is not the only royal mom who received a push present from her husband. Prince Philip reportedly gave Queen Elizabeth II a bottle of champagne and a bunch of red roses after giving birth to Prince Charles in 1984.
Prince Harry is expected to follow this tradition. So, Markle will likely receive a push present from her husband after the arrival of their bundle of joy.
It remains unknown what Prince Harry will give Markle. However, many are convinced that he will have something special for the former “Suits” star. The Duke of Sussex also gave Markle a present on their wedding day back in May.
In related news, Markle has different birthing plans from Middleton. According to reports, she might opt to deliver her baby at home and not follow Princess Diana and Middleton’s practice. The late Princess of Wales and Duchess of Cambridge both gave birth at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital.
Prince Harry and Markle will likely welcome their baby earlier than expected. The recent odds suggest that the upcoming royal baby could arrive in February.
