Meghan Markle was slammed by netizens due to her recent post on social media.

On Thursday, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton attended Anzac Day Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. Many were pleased to see the Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge in the said event together.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared one photo of Middleton and Prince Harry during the celebration along with other throwback photos of the duke with his wife Markle on Instagram. However, a number of users were quick to criticize the said post because it included old photos just to feature the pregnant duchess instead of focusing on the recent event.

“She wasn't invited to this. So jealous so had to put her own picture's out! When this so called baby coming? Anyone know!?!!” one user commented.

Another netizen pointed out that only one photo of Middleton in the recent event was shared, but three photos of Markle in the previous year were uploaded online. A different user suggested that Markle did it because she wanted to be the “center of attention.”

“She had to be at the center of the attention all the time,” another user wrote before adding “it has to be about her.”

Some netizens were quick to defend Markle. According to them, there’s nothing wrong with her post because it’s their account. They can post anything about them on their page.

Meanwhile, the netizens believe that Markle was behind the said post because instead of using British words, it uses American terms like “fall” for “autumn” and “defense” for “defence.” There have been talks that Markle is hands-on when it comes to her and Prince Harry’s joint Instagram account.

Hello! Magazine first noticed the captions on the Sussex Royal Instagram account. According to them, the words used aren’t very British, it’s actually using American spellings like “energize” instead of “energise.” The choice of words is also not British like “diapers” instead of “nappies.”

In related news, according to Daniela Elser of News.com.au, Prince Harry and Markle’s separate social media account is causing problems and the “biggest loser” is Middleton. In the coming weeks, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s account is expected to have more followers, especially now that baby Sussex is set to arrive soon. The two families will have a “social media face-off” and will be pitted against each other.
