Meghan Markle Drinks Champagne, Watches Romantic Films During Flight, Says Source
Meghan Markle does a lot of things to keep herself entertained while traveling by plane.
A source told Express journalist Kara Godfrey that Markle typically gets herself a glass of champagne or peppermint tea while traveling. She also loves to watch romantic films like the “Book Club” starring Diane Keaton and Jane Fonda during her eight-hour flights.
“Meghan was lovely. She had two secret service guys with her, but it was all very low key. Meghan had one glass of champagne before settling down to watch ‘Book Club.’ She seemed very relaxed and sipped on peppermint tea during her journey,” the source said.
The unnamed source’s sighting of Markle took place when the Duchess of Sussex took a commercial flight by Air Canada when she was still starring in “Suits.”
In her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, Markle also shared some wonderful travel tips to her readers. She said that she always travels with tea tree oil and hand sanitizer.
“If you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is,” Markle wrote that tea tree oil can be used for anything.
“When I get on a plane, I always use some quick hand wipes or a travel sanitizer spray to wipe it all down,” she added.
In related news, Markle will once again be traveling next month. But this time around, she will be taking a private jet with Prince Harry to Australia. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be embarking on their first overseas tour that will kick off on Oct. 16 and wrap up on Oct. 31.
Prior to their trip, Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, flew to Europe for a quick vacation. According to E! News, the author is planning on flying to London to try and talk to Markle regarding their dad’s deteriorating health.
Samantha’s agent released a statement last week, and said, “I currently have Samantha in Europe with just one short flight away. This doesn’t have to be public, we would prefer to keep this private. Samantha is coming to the UK this week, like it or not.”
