Meghan Markle Dubbed ‘Diva Duchess’ After Shocking ‘Megxit,’ Wants ‘More Hollywood,’ Source Claims

Meghan Markle has reportedly been dubbed a “diva duchess” after she and Prince Harry shocked the entire world over their decision to step back from their roles as senior royals.

According to Radar Online, the Duchess of Sussex received the moniker because she wants less royal and more Hollywood.

“Her name has been thrown in the mud. She wants freedom while at the same time being able to use her influence in North America to do things she wants to do. There is nothing wrong with that,” a source said.

The insider also said that it is Prince Harry and Markle’s 7-month-old son, Archie, that inspired their decision to step back. The source alleged that even though Markle has already made a name for herself since she married Prince Harry, she didn’t realize how big of a responsibility it really is to be part of the British clan.

“She realized that this is not the life she wants to live forever and especially with Archie, it’s not the life she wants him to have,” the source said.

Following the royal couple’s shocking announcement, Queen Elizabeth released an unprecedented response saying that discussions with the Sussexes are still at an early stage.

Sources told Daily Mail that other members of the royal family also felt as though they were stabbed in the back by Prince Harry and Markle.

“People have bent over backward for them. They were given the wedding they wanted, the house they wanted, the office they wanted, the money they wanted, the staff they wanted, the tours they wanted and had the backing of their family. What more did they want?” a royal aide said.

Another royal aide said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision is deeply unfair to Her Majesty, who doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment. However, the monarch and the royal family still understand that Prince Harry and Markle want to do something different.
