Meghan Markle Fans Respond To Thomas Markle’s Letter Drama By Doing This
Meghan Markle’s fans came to her defense after her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., made her handwritten letters public.
On Monday, the Duchess of Sussex’s supporters unearthed a throwback video of Markle kissing her mom, Doria Ragland, on the cheek. The Boomerang video on Instagram was uploaded on one royal fan account. In the clip, Ragland is smiling from ear to ear as her daughter kissed her.
“I won’t be posting the letter, it was released without her consent and he has clearly shown that he is a very manipulative character. Fortunately, she has other emotionally-healthy connections that have held her together,” the person behind the account captioned the video.
Last weekend, Thomas released the five-page letter of Markle to Daily Mail. The former lighting director also said that he didn’t think that the contents of the letter came from his daughter and instead it came from Prince Harry.
“This is not the girl I know; it’s not the way she talks. This letter is cold when she signs off it’s ‘Meg,’ you read the way it ends and it felt like a farewell to me,” Thomas told the publication.
The lengthy handwritten letter from the Duchess of Sussex saw Markle telling her dad how he broke her heart into a million pieces for a number of reasons. She also said that she was upset that her dad lied about telling her that he couldn’t make it to her royal wedding.
Markle also confirmed that she barely knows her half-sister, Samantha Markle, who has been behind some of the rumors and negative press being thrown at her.
According to royal contributor Omid Scobie, it seemed as though Markle had an idea that her dad would make her private letters public one day. Handwriting expert Emma Bache also called Markle a narcissistic showman because it was evident that her highly-stylized letter suggested that she was being ultra-cautious.
Bache also said that the letter just revealed Markle’s perfectionist streak and desire to hide her true feelings.
