Meghan Markle ‘Flattered’ By ‘Suits’ Fans In South Africa
Meghan Markle has left acting behind, but royal fans haven’t forgotten about her role on “Suits.” Even viewers in South Africa are excited to have the Rachel Zane actress visiting.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stopped by the Bo Kaap distriect to visit retired school principal Shamiela Sanodien for tea. She and her sister Nazli Edross-Fakier couldn’t help but tell Meghan how much they enjoyed the law show, which is currently airing its final season.
“Meghan was so sweet, we spoke about her being on ‘Suits;’ we told her we adored her in ‘Suits’ and she was flattered,” Edross-Fakier told Vanity Fair. “We talked about her being a new mum. She said it was very exciting and she said she’s really enjoying it. The prince said that Archie was a good little boy and slept on Meghan’s chest most of the time. It was wonderful having them for tea.”
Though Meghan is not set to appear in the series finale of “Suits,” airing Wednesday on USA Network, her co-stars certainly haven’t forgotten her. Several of them attended her May 2019 wedding while Abigail Spencer even attended her lavish New York City baby shower.
Patrick J. Adams, who played her onscreen love Mike Ross, recently published some never-before-seen photos of the Duchess from her Hollywood days. He posted a massive photo dump on Instagram, which included several behind-the-scenes photos of the Duchess on set in between takes.
Of course, there are rumors that Meghan wants to be back in Hollywood—or at least living nearby. She and Prince Harry are rumored to be looking at houses in Los Angeles. However, there has been no official announcement that the Duke and Duchess will leave the U.K.
