Meghan Markle may give birth in the Lindo Wing where Kate Middleton delivered her three royal children.

According to the Telegraph, contrary to reports, the Duchess of Sussex plans to follow the Duchess of Cambridge’s choice of delivering her baby at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. The rumors about Markle choosing the facility started when the staff at the Lindo Wing were advised to not take holiday in the spring.

“Staff at the Lindo Wing have been asked not to take holiday in April. Everyone thinks it’s got something to do with the royal baby but no one is confirming anything,” a source told the publication.

The Lindo Wing offers a "five-star" birthing experience with spacious private rooms and en-suite bathrooms. Also, parents can pick their meals from its lavish la carte menus including wine and champagne list. The hospital also offers a celebratory post-labour afternoon tea there.

Middleton delivered Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in the same facility. Princess Diana also gave birth to Prince William and Prince Harry at the same hospital. They also made their children's public debut in the Lindo Wing where photographers got the chance to capture the couple's first picture with their newborn.

On the contrary, previous reports claimed that Markle doesn’t want to give birth in the Lindo Wing because she wants to take a different path from her sister-in-law and wants to shun the private ward. Also, the Duchess of Sussex reportedly doesn’t want to repeat anything that the Duchess of Cambridge already did.

In related news, Markle may give birth to her firstborn earlier than expected. The duchess revealed earlier that she is due in the last week of April.

However, according to Angela Mollard during New Idea’s “Royals” podcast, the royals tend to usually give later dates than their expected delivery date. For instance, if they say that they are due at the beginning of April, chances are high that their delivery date is on March 25.

So, instead of expecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby in the last week of April, royal fans might have a glimpse of the youngest member of the royal family in the first or second week of the said month.
