Meghan Markle, Harry Must Do This Important Thing To Make Marriage Last
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry should do one important thing to make their marriage last.
Jazz Bjelica, a relationship expert, told Express that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should not forget to take good care of each other even after their baby arrives.
“One of the key things to keep a solid marriage when you become parents is keep paying attention to your partner. Even though newborns ask for tons of your attention, care and time, please do not forget you are still a husband and a wife. No matter how small your baby is, remember to create alone time with your partner. Since a newborn biologically needs more attention from the mom in the first few months, the dad’s role is to take care of the partner. Later, responsibilities are more equally divided,” she said.
The expert also said that the length of time a couple has been together doesn’t necessarily determine if they are ready to have a baby.
“Time doesn’t reflect the solidity of their relationship. It’s far more about the depth of their relationships, closeness and maturity of both as individuals and their relationship, as well as what external support they have. Both Meghan and Harry went through a lot in the past, as individuals and as a couple, and all of that took place under the public eye. Considering that, they will probably handle this new beautiful adventure in their lives quite well,” she explained.
Kensington Palace announced Markle’s pregnancy last month and revealed that she and Prince Harry will welcome their firstborn sometime in the spring of 2019. The royal couple’s baby’s sex will be revealed after Markle gives birth, but there are speculations suggesting that they will have a baby girl.
During their recent tour in Australia, Prince Harry declared that he wants to have a baby girl with his wife after a fan said that she hopes the couple’s baby will be a girl.
