Meghan Markle Has ‘Huge Advantage’ Over Kate That Diana Would Have Liked
Meghan Markle has something that Kate Middleton lacks and Princess Diana would have liked it.
The Duchess of Sussex had a successful acting career before she married Prince Harry. According to royal experts, this helped Markle deal with the media and if Princess Diana were alive, she would have loved this thing about Markle.
“Meghan is a consummate performer with her theatrical background, which gives her a huge advantage in dealing with the public,” Princess Diana’s former bodyguard Ken Wharfe told Daily Mail.
“I remember her first public engagement with Harry in Nottingham, I think it was, and later at a radio station in Brixton and she was so brilliant in dealing with the media and talking to people with sincerity in her voice. Diana would have liked that.”
According to Dickie Arbiter, former press secretary of the Prince and Princess of Wales, as a protective mom, Princess Diana would be jealous of Kate Middleton and Markle because “to every mother, no woman is good enough for her son.” However, Wharfe disagreed. For him, he didn’t see any jealousy on the Princess of Wales’ part.
Meanwhile, one netizen took to Quora to ask if Queen Elizabeth II doesn’t like Middleton just like Princess Diana. According to those who responded to the question, there are no signs suggesting that the Queen dislikes Middleton.
In related news, Prince William was very protective of Middleton when they were dating. The second-in-line to the throne was aware how the media harassed his mother, so he was careful not to let Middleton go through the same experience.
The Duke of Cambridge reportedly informed his staff to train Middleton on how to deal with the cameras. Aside from receiving advice on how to manage the media, Prince William’s staff were there for Middleton for support.
Prince William and Middleton are reportedly in Mustique to spend their summer holidays with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s eldest son will turn 6 years old. It remains unknown if they will still be in Mustique on that day, or if they will be heading home to celebrate their son’s special day with the other members of the royal family.
