Meghan Markle Has Not Given Birth Despite Rumors, Queen’s Former Aide Confirms
Meghan Markle is rumored to have already given birth. However, Queen Elizabeth II’s former royal aide said that this couldn’t be the case.
Dickie Arbiter recently told the Australian show “Today Extra” that fans shouldn’t believe everything that they read or hear online. He also accused royal watchers of trying to keep the rumor mill going with regards to Baby Sussex’s birth.
“If you believe that, you’d believe anything. We’ll know in due course when the baby is born… Harry and Meghan made it very clear the birth is going to be private,” he said.
Arbiter also insisted that there is no substance to the rumors that the Duchess of Sussex has already given birth. He also urged royal fans to hold their horses and be patient.
“There aren’t going to be any advance notices and they will release any details once they’ve had time to bond with the baby. The birth will come as they said, in late April, early May, and we just need to hold our horse until then,” he concluded.
Last week, Markle and Prince Harry announced that they will keep the birth of their baby private. This decision resulted in conflicting reactions from the public. Some royal fans supported the royal couple’s decision by saying that they have the right to do whatever they want because it is their baby.
On the other hand, there were also some that disliked the idea because it has been a common practice among some royal mothers to introduce their baby just hours after their birth.
For instance, Princess Diana stepped out of St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing just hours after she and Prince Charles welcomed Prince William and Prince Harry in 1982 and 1984. Years later, Kate Middleton also stepped out of the same hospital after the births of Prince George in 2013, Princess Charlotte in 2013, and Prince Louis in 2018.
However, it is important to note that Markle is not married to an heir to the throne like Princess Diana and Middleton.
