Meghan Markle is rumored to be insecure about her post-baby body and the fact that she hasn’t lost her pregnancy weight as quickly as Kate Middleton did.

While at a royal engagement this week, a couple that spoke with Markle and Prince Harry shared details from their conversation with Hello! magazine. Eve Nicholas told the Duchess of Sussex that she looks amazing considering she only gave birth to Archie in May.

Upon hearing this, the Duke of Sussex looked at his wife and he uttered a very reassuring statement. “See, I told you!” The new dad’s remark seemed to suggest that Markle is concerned about her post-pregnancy weight. But lucky for her, she has a husband who thinks that she’s the most beautiful woman in the world.

Months ago, the “Suits” alum was criticized for not shedding off her unwanted pregnancy weight even though it’s been months since she gave birth. But sources said that it usually takes women 10 to 12 months to get back to their pre-pregnancy weight and body.

The Duchess of Cambridge was just lucky enough to have lost her post-pregnancy weight quite fast because of her good genes. And throughout her three pregnancies, Prince William’s wife didn’t gain much weight, to begin with.

Middleton also suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum or extreme morning sickness that made her lose weight instead of gaining a few founds during her first trimester.

Meanwhile, it still cannot be denied that Markle has lost a few pounds ever since she first stepped out in public after giving birth to Archie. This week, she was also able to recycle a dress that she wore before she became pregnant with her son.

The former actress also looked slimmer than ever when she donned an oversized polo shirt, skinny jeans, and heels in August while creating her capsule collection for Smart Works. At that time, Markle’s son was only 3 months old.
