Meghan Markle will most likely attend more engagements now that she’s pregnant for a unique reason.

Latifa Yedroudj, a journalist for Express, noted that Markle skipped some of her engagements while on her first overseas tour of Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, and New Zealand because she was still on the first trimester of her pregnancy.

The journalist said that it is highly likely the “Suits” alum experienced symptoms of nausea, headaches, and insomnia due to her first pregnancy. But Markle is going into her second trimester so these symptoms will be lessened or eradicated.

Pradnya Pisal, a gynecologist and obstetrician at London Gynecology, said that Markle feels less tired as her pregnancy progresses. This will make it possible for Prince Harry’s wife to attend more engagements until before she gives birth in the spring of 2019.

“Generally speaking in the second trimester there is an improvement in symptoms and a feeling of good wellbeing. Second-trimester symptoms can include palpitations, more vaginal discharge, and possible constipation. The expectant mom can also experience tiredness but less than the first trimester,” she said.

Markle will also follow in Kate Middleton’s footsteps since the Duchess of Cambridge didn’t stop from working until a month before she gave birth to her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. However, Prince William’s wife was visibly absent from a slew of events during the first three months of her pregnancy.

The Duchess of Cambridge suffered from a severe case of morning sickness while she was pregnant with all of her three children. Markle also skipped some engagements during her tour with her husband.

A royal aid gave fans an update on Markle’s health while she was on tour and said that the Duchess of Sussex is fine but needed to rest longer.

“After a busy program, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have decided to cut back the Duchess’s schedule for the next couple of days, ahead of the final week and a half of the tour,” the aide said (via Elle).
