Meghan Markle ‘Loses Weight Drastically’ 3 Months After Giving Birth
Meghan Markle recently showed off her much slimmer figure in new videos that were uploaded on Instagram.
In the clips, the Duchess of Sussex couldn’t contain her excitement over the capsule collection she is designing for Smart Works. Markle gives the women that she meets a tight hug, and she also collaborates with the photographers and stylists who are with her on the set.
At one point, Markle couldn’t contain her excitement that she ends up looking at the camera. She also claps her hands nonstop.
In the video, Prince Harry’s wife is wearing an oversized long-sleeve polo shirt that she rolled up to her elbows. She paired her blue-collared top with her skinny jeans and black stilettos.
The clip reveals how much weight Markle has lost after she gave birth to Archie Harrison three months ago. But prior to the video’s release, royal fans criticized the “Suits” alum for not losing her post-pregnancy weight as quickly as Kate Middleton lost her.
On the online forum site Quora, royal fans explained why they think it was much easier for the Duchess of Cambridge to lose her post-pregnancy weight during all three of her pregnancies.
Kierstin Gunsberg, a mom of two, said that Middleton’s extreme morning sickness may have something to do with her weight loss. Gunsberg also suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum and she had a hard time gaining weight until she reached her last trimester.
“In both pregnancies, I did end up gaining 25 pounds but it was quickly lost when I gave birth to my baby, the placenta and lost all of the water weight. In short, I hadn’t gained much extra fat because I hadn’t eaten much for 9 months so I didn’t have much extra fat to lose postpartum either,” she said.
Susan C. Weber said that there’s only one reason why Markle didn’t lose her post-pregnancy weight as quickly as Middleton did. It’s because the two female royals are different from each other.
