Meghan Markle ‘Mistook’ Comedian Joel Creasey For Wedding Guest: ‘Didn’t Get On’
Meghan Markle once mistook comedian Joel Creasey for a wedding guest, and this ignited an alleged feud between the two.
During his recent appearance on “The Sunday Project,” the 28-year-old funnyman said that he was introduced to the Duchess of Sussex at an event after having hosted a royal wedding TV coverage on Australia’s SBS network.
“I got introduced to her. She came over and was planted in front of me… The governor of Victoria’s husband said to Meghan, ‘Oh Meghan, Joel hosted your wedding…’ I think he was going to say, ‘Joel hosted your wedding on TV,’” he said.
But before Creasey’s friend could say that, the Duchess of Sussex had reportedly already cut him off and told the comedian that she doesn’t remember him being there. The comedian told Markle that she didn’t see him at the royal wedding because she didn’t invite him.
It seems that there’s more to Creasey’s story, but he’s planning on keeping some details private because he plans on including them in his upcoming stand-up tour.
Meanwhile, the comedian is not the only one who isn’t necessarily fond of Prince Harry’s wife. Last week, “Good Morning Britain” host Piers Morgan criticized the “Suits” alum and accused her of being a social climber.
Morgan’s negative feelings towards Markle started after he felt that the Duchess of Sussex used him to her benefit. After hanging out a few times, Markle started dating Prince Harry and she never reached out to Morgan again.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also did not invite Morgan to their royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19.
“I don’t like people that behave like that. It’s kind of rude… It showed me that she, I’m afraid, is probably a bit of a social climber,” he said.
Morgan then offered some words of advice for Prince Harry and said that he shouldn’t come running to him when everything in their marriage starts to go wrong.
