Meghan Markle Not Anywhere Near Princess Diana; Kate ‘Reasonable To Live With’

Meghan Markle is not anywhere near Princess Diana.

Fashion designer Paul Costelloe was in Dublin earlier this week to launch the third Incognito secret art sale in aid of the Jack and Jill children’s charity. Costelloe was one of Princess Diana’s favorite designers and frequently visited Kensington Palace when the late Princess of Wales was still alive.

He already met Prince William and Prince Harry when they were still kids. He praised Princess Diana for an “amazing job” in raising the two princes. He also commented on their wives Kate Middleton and Markle by saying that both are “fantastic” but are in a different situation depending on who they marry.

“I think Kate seems to be very much in control and reasonable to live with,” Costelloe said of Middleton in an interview with Irish Independent.

Since Markle is often compared to Princess Diana, Costelloe shared his thoughts about the comparison. For him, the Duchess of Sussex is nowhere near the People’s Princess.

“I don’t think she’s anywhere near the superstar, that quality of person that Diana was,” Costelloe said.

Piers Morgan also shared the same opinion about the comparison. According to the TV presenter, when it comes to the amount of media attention that Markle and Princess Diana received, the latter was one of the biggest stars on the planet. On the other hand, Markle is not even in the top three biggest stars in Kensington Palace.

In related news, Middleton and Markle reunited at Prince Charles’ investiture on Tuesday. It was their first reunion this year.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Duke and Duchess of Sussex were last seen together in December when they joined the royals’ traditional Christmas morning service. Middleton and Markle were photographed chatting and smiling as they walked their way to church.

Last Tuesday, Middleton took the center stage with the other royals while Markle was positioned at the corner. However, Middleton and Markle were seen laughing together at the event.

According to some insiders, Middleton and Markle are not feuding. The two duchesses have no issues against each other. Their alleged rift was just used to cover up Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud.​
