Meghan Markle is unfazed by half-sister Samantha Markle's "tell-all" book despite what some reports have claimed, a friend says.

"The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister Part 1," in which Samantha criticizes her half-sister's treatment of their father, is already out. While some tabloids claimed the book had Meghan breaking down in tears and would "cause anxiety," a friend of the duchess told Vanity Fair that the memoir "barely registered on her radar."

"Meghan has not seen Samantha for years so the idea that she is worried about the book is nonsense. Meghan barely knows Samantha, they haven’t seen each other for nearly 20 years," Markle's pal said.

The description of the autobiography on Barnes & Noble revealed that Samantha "shares the truth about her life and family against all odds and ultimatums, as a royal fairy tale plummets from the tea towels" in the book. "Sometimes the truth really is stranger than fiction," it also claimed.

In the book, Samantha claimed that Markle was "mean" to their father, Thomas Markle Sr., and detailed one incident where their dad became upset over Markle allegedly changing her tune when Prince Harry was not around.

"I said, ‘Dad, what’s going on, what’s wrong?" she wrote. "He said, ‘This is really weird, she’s not the same. When Harry is in the room, she is very sweet and a different person, but when he steps out of the room, she is mean and controlling.’"

Samantha also talks about their dad's absence from Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding in her memoir, insisting that the royal family should have postponed the ceremony so Thomas could attend.

Samantha said that she is already working on the second part of the book. But it seems fans and royal watchers can also expect a memoir from Meghan in the future as her pal said she is considering writing a book.

"Meghan has some very serious book deals on the table," the duchess' friend told Vanity Fair. "They are all up for consideration."

In an interview in January, Samantha stressed that her book was not written to attack her sister despite some family members and fans claiming she hated Markle and was jealous of her.

"Contrary to troll gossip and aggregate news rumors, my book has never been designed to attack my sister," Samantha said. "It’s relatable. There’s a lot to learn — the good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve been very forthcoming that I was never writing a hardbound tabloid. I said that two years ago, but nobody wanted to believe it."
