Meghan Markle has been dubbed a c-list actress and an opportunist weeks after she announced that she’s quitting the royal family.

During a recent episode of “America Talks Live,” host John Cardillo took a swipe at the Duchess of Sussex months after President Donald Trump, who he supports, called her nasty.

“She was like a 'C' list actress, a supporting actress on a cable network show for a few seasons. She got lucky and married a prince. Now I think Meghan Markle realizes that she is never going to be truly embraced as a Royal. She wants to be back in the good graces of Hollywood,” he said.

Cardillo went on to talk about Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to trademark the Sussex brand in the United States and said that it is not surprising why they don’t support the POTUS. According to him, the elites in Hollywood and the fashion industry won’t back their brand if they support the president of the United States.

Meanwhile, a source told Express that one of the reasons why Markle decided to quit the royal family is because she doesn’t like to be asked to stay away from politics. As members of The Firm, royals cannot express their personal opinions and they also can’t reveal which parties they support.

“The Duchess is said to be frustrated that she was forced to stay out of politics after getting engaged to Harry. She has strong political opinions and will now take advantage of the greater freedom she has to express them publicly,” the source said.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle will also have the opportunity to pursue any career that they want to pursue. There are reports that the Duchess of Sussex already signed a voiceover deal with Disney after her husband urged the company CEO to consider hiring her.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will also be living in Canada but they will visit London every now and then.
