Meghan Markle Planning Frogmore Cottage Suite For Mom Ahead Of Baby’s Birth
Meghan Markle is reportedly planning on giving her mom, Doria Ragland, a suite in Frogmore Cottage ahead of her and Prince Harry’s baby’s arrival.
A source told Vanity Fair, “Doria wants to be around a lot when the baby arrives, and there are plans for her to have a dedicated space at their new home. She wants to be on hand to help Meghan and Harry with the baby.”
The source also said that it is highly likely for Ragland to encourage the Duchess of Sussex to have a home birth. Another source told Grazia magazine that Markle is on board with not having a traditional birth for her firstborn. Instead, she wants a pool to be set up in a relaxing environment in her home.
“Even Harry found this surprising, but Megs wants to ensure her birth is as natural as possible,” she said.
Last month, it was reported that the yoga instructor is planning on moving to the United Kingdom to be more involved with her grandchild. Kensington Palace announced Markle’s pregnancy on Oct. 15 while she was in Australia with Prince Harry.
Ragland currently lives in the United States by herself. She has been in and out of the UK since Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry on May 19. Ragland was the only relative of Markle that was present at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
After her daughter’s wedding, Ragland flew back to the UK to attend the launching of Markle’s cookbook. And days after Markle’s pregnancy was announced, she was photographed back in Los Angeles doing some errands.
As of late, it is still unclear when Ragland will fly to the UK to be with her daughter, son-in-law, and first grandchild. But Markle is expected to give birth in the spring of 2019. There are some speculations suggesting that Markle will welcome her baby between April to June. Some bookies have also predicted that Markle’s baby may share the same birthday with Queen Elizabeth II or Princess Charlotte.
