She may have given birth to her first child, Archie Harrison, in the UK, a new report claims that Meghan Markle actually intends to do things very differently when it comes time to potentially have a second child.

According to a report in OK! Magazine, the Duchess of Sussex is determined to welcome her second child in the United States, even if it isn’t a popular decision after she felt “lonely” and isolated” during her first pregnancy since she wasn’t surrounded by her friends and family. As a result, she intends to give birth in Los Angeles if she should get pregnant again.

“Meghan already told pals that when she comes to deliver her next baby, she’d like to do it in LA where she was born and bred,” a source told the publication. “She said that being in the pregnant in the UK without any of her family and friends felt incredibly lonely and uncomfortable for her.”

As a result, she plans to do things her own way if she should have a second child with her husband, Prince Harry, even though it wouldn’t be something that was received well by either the royal family of the British public.

“So she’s keen to change that the second time around and would like to buck tradition to ensure she’s happy—although that may ruffle feathers along the way,” the source added.

In addition, if she got her wish, then she would also remain in the US for a few months while on maternity leave because it would allow her child to be kept away from the spotlight for a time, and would also be something she sees as beneficial when it comes to her own mental health.

As for Prince Harry, while he may have some concerns about how such a plan would be received by his family, he also wants to do whatever makes his wife happy and is expected to carry out her wishes.

“Harry was initially concerned at the implications of having their second child in the US, as well as the problems it could cause with his family,” the source said. “But it’s believed he’ll support Meghan and do whatever it takes to make her happy and alleviate any anxieties or stresses.”

If the couple did go through with the plan, it would be a departure from how they handled their first pregnancy, which saw Markle stay in the UK and complete her duties there before giving birth. However, both before her son’s birth and after, she faced intense scrutiny from the press as well, which she opened up about in the recent documentary, “Harry and Meghan: An African Journey.”
