Meghan Markle Playing ‘Dangerous Game’ Amid Dad’s Rift, Royal Expert Claims
Meghan Markle has been playing a very dangerous game amid her ongoing rift with dad Thomas Markle Sr for one royal expert.
Robert Jobson, a royal expert and the author of “Charles at 70: Thoughts, Hopes, and Dreams,” said that Markle will one day regret not reaching out to her dad. The expert also discussed Thomas’ recent appearance on “Good Morning Britain” and said that the former lighting director sounded desperate in his plea to talk to his daughter.
Jobson said that the interview itself won’t heal the ongoing feud between the Markles, but those who watched may have felt sympathetic towards Thomas.
“I understand that many people who feel he is a sad and attention seeking figure. But I believe Meghan is playing a dangerous game,” he told Express.
Jobson said that Markle has no idea what it would be like to lose a parent because Thomas and her mom, Doria Ragland, are still both alive. The author went on to say that Thomas is not in the best of health, and he is desperate because he is not an expert when it comes to dealing with the royal family.
“Once he is gone, any tears that will flow will be seen as crocodile tears. She will regret not making contact if something happens to him,” he said.
And since Christmas is just right around the corner, Jobson suggested that Markle should send her dad a Christmas card so she would inform him that she’s been hearing him all this time.
Thomas currently lives in Mexico by himself, and he has been sending the Duchess of Sussex text messages on a daily basis. However, he has never received any response. Thomas and the “Suits” alum have not spoken to each other since before she tied the knot with Prince Harry on May 19.
The 74-year-old was invited to attend the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but he was unable to make it because he suffered from heart attack. He also underwent surgery in the days leading up to the big event.
