Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Broke This Royal Record With Archie
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son is only 5-months-old, and he's already breaking records -- royal records, that is.
Archie joined his parents on their week-long royal tour of Africa and made his official debut at a meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. At the time, he was just 4-months-old, which is younger than any of his older family members who have accompanied their family on tour.
"It obviously meant a lot to both Meghan and Harry, to do it that way," Royal commentator Juliet Rieden said while speaking to Nine News Australia, according to Express. "Normally, when we see a young child – we’ve never seen a four-month-old on tour before."
"When we saw William on tour or when we saw George on tour as babies, it was in a playdate scenario with other children," she said."Or in a situation where there were parents around and it was a sort of mother-and-baby scenario. Archie is going straight for the jugular here, isn’t he?"
Rieden added, "He’s going to be a world leader, he is meeting a world leader. Harry and Meghan knew exactly what they were doing there – they wanted to make history and they definitely did."

Archie wasn't the only one breaking things during the royal tour. His mother, the Duchess of Sussex, apparently broke royal protocol during the trip. However, unlike Archie, Meghan's was an accident.
On the last day visiting Africa, the former "Suits" actress accidentally broke protocol when she inadvertently took a selfie.
"Turning your back to the Duke and Duchess and taking a selfie is discouraged if at all possible," Jennifer Gehmair, of Canada's tourism department explained prior to a royal visit to Canada in 2016. "I know it’s fun to do, but they much would rather see your face."
