Meghan Markle, Prince Harry A Disappointment: ’Things Have Gone Really Wrong’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are a disappointment to some of their fans.

Speaking to The Times, royal biographer Penny Junor revealed that things aren’t the same for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this year. She added that Prince Harry and Markle have disappointed their followers.

Junor said that “on paper they are fantastic.” However, “things have gone really wrong for them.” Junor stressed that everyone used to love them but now “people are just disappointed.”

Prince Harry and Markle have been criticized for their lifestyle. The public were not happy when they learned that the royal couple used the taxpayers’ money to renovate their home, Frogmore Cottage, in Windsor, but they kept the details of their son private.

To make the matter worse, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also made their son’s baptism private. Unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton, they also did not announce the godparents of their baby.

In addition, Prince Harry and Markle received an intense backlash after taking four private flights in 11 days while campaigning for the environment. Prince Harry and Markle called the people to do their bits of good for the nature, but they do not practice what they preach.

Junor also added that the couple has different intentions in their lives. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always shown a united front whenever they are out together. However, according to the biographer, they have different intentions in living their lives.

“Harry has spent his whole life trying to be normal, trying to be one of us,” Junor explained. “She has spent her whole life trying to be a superstar, and to stop being normal.”

Junor called Prince Harry a “reluctant royal” because there was a point in his life when he was willing to give up his royal privileges to live a normal life. When he was younger, he wanted to be a commoner, but Queen Elizabeth II convinced him to not abandon his royal life.

Now that Prince Harry is already married to Markle, he is unlikely to live a normal life. According to Angela Levin, Markle won’t allow Prince Harry to leave the royal family.
