Ever since Meghan Markle joined the British royal family upon marrying Prince Harry on May 19, 2018, scrutiny and curiosity has continued to follow the famous couple. Due to this, they reportedly have decided to take unexpected steps, such as temporarily disabling Instagram comments and attempting to stay "low-key" to avoid any potential negative press. However, royal biographer and journalist Penny Junor thinks something else may also be going on behind the scenes.

According to Express, the royal expert revealed to The Times that she believes the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have conflicting points of view when it comes to how they want to live their lives.

"Harry has spent his whole life trying to be normal, trying to be one of us," she said, adding, "She [Meghan] has spent her whole life trying to be a superstar, and to stop being normal."

Additionally, the author noted that even though the couple may appear to be great "on paper," the way that things have transpired this year has left the public feeling "disappointed" in the royals. With this sentiment, Junor may be referencing the scandals surrounding Frogmore Cottage or the controversy regarding their use of private jets.

However, Junor believes that all of the negativity can be turned around with one simple move. "They have got everything going for them," she said, adding, "If they just started behaving like members of the royal family and not like Hollywood A-listers, they can turn it around."
