Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Feel ‘Claustrophobic’ In Kensington Palace
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are about to move into their very own home. Ahead of their relocation from Kensington Palace in London to the newly renovated Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, England, a close family friend of the pair is revealing how the royal couple really felt about their time at the palace.
The move, speculated to take place in a few short weeks, is coming at just the right time for the couple who are due to welcome their first child this spring. “They’ll enjoy it much more in Windsor,” an insider tells People Magazine in their April 8 print issue. “They feel claustrophobic in their place in Kensington Palace.”
Meghan and Harry won’t need to worry about lack of space in their new home. Frogmore Cottage, which is roughly 25 miles west of London, has been redesigned as a 5-bedroom, single-family home. The place, described by the magazine as incorporating both “English and California style,” also comes equipped with an energy center and a custom kitchen and dining room.

“I presume it must be nice to get out and away. Without neighbors who are all either family or staff, they will now have their own things,” said the friend, who called the move “a really healthy thing” for the expectant parents.
“It’s a new life,” added the source. “And it’s all theirs, which is lovely.”
