Meghan Markle, Prince Harry ‘Happier, More Relaxed’ After Leaving Royal Family, Couple ‘Reflecting’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are happier and more relaxed after they left the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced on January that they were stepping down as senior members of the royal family. On April 1, Prince Harry and Markle officially got what they wanted.

As of late, the royal couple is reportedly staying in Los Angeles. They left Canada and moved to California where Markle’s mom and friends reside.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that Prince Harry and Markle are “happier and more relaxed.” In addition, “they are spending time as a family and taking a break away from the spotlight.”

The insider also said that they are reflecting. It’s the best time for the couple to get their bearing before they start the next chapter of their lives. Prince Harry and Markle “are getting a lot of support from friends.”

The duke and duchess were not allowed to use the royal brand, Sussex Royal. Just recently, they bid goodbye to their 11.3 million followers on Instagram by making their final post on the social media platform. Prince Harry and Markle thanked their fans for the support, inspiration, and shared commitment.

Although Archie’s parents are no longer working royals, conservation and mental health will remain their focus when they continue their humanitarian and charitable works.

“They're looking to make a difference in the future,” the insider continued. “For now, they're spending time with Archie and planning the next steps for their non-profit.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry remains in contact with the royal family including his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William. An insider said he misses them.

However, Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship remains awkward. The younger prince is allegedly confiding his problem over the phone to his pals back in the U.K. because he does’t want to involve his wife with his personal issues. Prince Harry wants to shield Markle from his stress.

The insider added that Kate Middleton’s husband was hurt that Prince Harry left London instead of supporting their family amid the coronavirus outbreak. Their father, Prince Charles, tested positive for COVID-19 a few weeks ago. Fortunately, the Prince of Wales is already out of isolation and is in good health.
