Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Looking For Second Base After Accepting This Fact?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly looking for a second base.
There are rumors that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are moving out of the U.K. There were claims that they would be moving to America. According to Dan Wootton of The Sun, “the troubled couple’s upcoming break from work in California is being viewed as a test for a potential future move.”
Prince Harry and Markle are reportedly considering a range of locations where they can set up a second base. The stateside house hunt comes after the couple has cooled on a permanent move to South Africa, which was the main location they considered previously. However, their stateside move has alarmed staff working for the Queen, Prince Charles and senior royals who fear that it could “precede an official exit from the family.”
An insider said that the couple is potentially moving to the U.S. after accepting the fact that things are not working for them in the U.K.
“There’s an acceptance that things haven’t worked out with the Sussexes full-time in Windsor so they could have a second base in America,” the source said.
New Idea reported earlier that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to “leave the royal family for good.” The report came shortly after the couple’s emotional interview with ITV for their documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.”
Prince Harry and Markle have been plagued with various controversies. The couple was slammed for taking four private flights in 11 days while calling on the people to do their bits of good for the environment.
They also irked the royal fans after they kept Markle’s pregnancy details a secret. To make matters worse, they made Archie’s christening private and didn’t share the names of his godparents.
Prince Harry and Markle were able to redeem their reputation during their South Africa tour. However, they lost their redeemed glory in days when they declared an all out war against the media.
Many felt that the couple wanted to be private individuals. Andrew Anthony of The Guardian offered Prince Harry two options so he and his family can live peacefully. According to him, Prince Harry should develop a zen-like indifference to the speculations and criticisms. Second, he can take his large fortune and withdraw from public life.
