They just moved to their new home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, but the rumor mill is once again fired up with speculation that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are also eyeing a new home in the United States as well.

During an appearance on Yahoo’s The Royal Box (via Express UK), royal expert Emily Andrews revealed that she believes the Duke and Duchess will look into buying a home in the Los Angeles area, as they look at expanding the reach of their new charity ventures and also look towards giving Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is based there, more time with her grandson, Archie Harrison.

“This project with Oprah, whilst it’s not going to be the first initiative of Sussex Royal, is a big push they are doing in the America market to try and attract donors for their new foundation,” she said. “I think they’ll probably buy somewhere in America—of course, Doria lives in LA.”

Andrews went on to discuss how it’s no secret that Markle and her mother are close, which is why it will probably become so important to the couple for her to have more access to her grandson.

“We know Doria and Meghan are very close, Doria has been a very special and intrinsic part of Archie’s life and it would make sense if they bought someplace out in LA,” she said. “Somewhere where they could go for holidays, school holidays and Doria could stay, too.”

Of course, while the couple may consider that, it’s been previously reported that while Ragland wouldn’t move to the UK because of her life in LA, she would likely visit the area more often following the arrival of her first grandchild.

“I’m sure Doria will be a very hands-on grandma, I’m sure she will want to help a lot,” royal author Juliet Rieden said in May, according to Express UK. “Whether she will be moving in is another matter, she has her own life. She lives in America, she has got a job so it’s not like she can suddenly throw everything up in the air and it’s not like Meghan needs her to.”

“I’m sure we will see Doria come over a lot more. I’m sure Archie will be going to America quite soon,” she added. “This is normal in every other family, that the baby gets taken to the grandparents often and I’m sure that will be the case with Archie.”
