Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shocked the world when they announced their decision to quit the royal life for good. Despite the perks and privileges they get to enjoy being two of the most significant members of the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to lie low and stay away from the limelight to live a simpler life away from the United Kingdom. However, a new report claimed that Meghan and Harry are not really ditching their lavish lifestyle permanently as they are said to purchase a multimillion-dollar mansion in Canada.
Woman’s Day Australia, in its Jan. 27, 2020, issue, claimed that Meghan is planning to buy a $24 million mansion in Mt. Oasis in Whistler, Canada. The country seat is said to have an amazing view of the valley, which is located between the upper-middle reaches of Cheakamus and the headwaters of the Green River. The wife of Prince Harry is, allegedly, interested in the manor since it is dramatically situated above the lake and ski fields.
“Meghan likes the idea of being bicoastal, with one foot in the city and one in the mountains,” an insider told the entertainment publication. “It’s her dream scenario. Sure, it’s going to push the budget to the brink, especially if they’re serious about being financially independent [of] the royal family, but as we know, what Meghan wants, she gets,” it went on.
The outlet, also, reported that Meghan Markle might consider another mansion located Castle Frank Road in Toronto, Canada. Worth $14.2 million, the grange, reportedly, has a total of eight bedrooms and a grand entrance like the Buckingham Palace.
While these reports could be true, it should be noted that Woman’s Day has been known for publishing stories based on the accounts of its unnamed and unreliable sources. In other words, this could be another fabricated report waiting to be debunked. So, avid followers of Meghan and Prince Harry should take these unverified claims with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
To recall, Who Magazine shared that Meghan and Prince Harry showed no regrets about ditching the royal life for good as they appear to be enjoying their stay in Canada. The publication even shared that the mom of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was seen walking with the royal baby through the Horth Hill Regional Park. The former “Suits” actress was also seen driving herself to Victoria International Airport to pick up a pal.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet to comment on these reports.
