Meghan Markle and Prince Harry should be boycotted by the press, according to a netizen.

Rebecca English announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s next engagement will be on Oct. 15. The couple will be attending the annual WellChild Awards at The Royal Lancaster Hotel. English’s post garnered a not-so-welcome response from the royal fans.

“No press should show up for the Duke and Duchess of Suing,“ one wrote.

“That’s what I really wanna see. The press is acting like these two are so important. Just let them tow be and boycott them,” a different user commented.

Many online users felt that Prince Harry and Markle would only use it as a photo opportunity. Another said that the event will be a self-promotion thing for the couple with “hugging fake moments.” Another royal follower added that Markle will only make the event “about her and not the kids.”

Meanwhile, another netizen felt that instead of Prince Harry and Markle, the royal family should send other members like Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie or Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“No decent charity deserves these 2. How about Eugenie or Beatrice attend instead?” another royal fan wrote.

“I would love to see William and Kate there they would be suitable representatives . The tax payers need to sack the other pair nothing royal about them,” Tania wrote.

“Apologies to WellChild, they should be represented by worthy royals like the Cambridge’s,” another fan wrote.

In related news, Mike Tindall was reportedly heard saying that no one in the royal family talks to Prince Harry and Markle anymore. The claim came after Richard Palmer said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex no longer get support from the royals.
