Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Top Rumor 2018: Couple Quitting Royal Lives
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were rumored to be leaving the royal family for a regular life.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were among the most talked about personalities this year. A number of tabloids and magazines covered their love story in the run-up of their royal wedding in May. However, according to Gossip Cop, the top rumor involving Prince Harry and Markle was about “leaving the royal family.”
OK! published a cover story that asserted that that Duke and Duchess of Sussex were planning to leave the royal family for the sake of their unborn baby. The unnamed source insisted that Prince Harry and Markle would make a “a historic announcement” about their departure from the royal household after their Commonwealth tour. Back in October, the couple visited Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga for the said tour.
The report insisted that Prince Harry and Markle wanted to leave their royal lives behind. The tipster even claimed that Prince Harry would give up his title and $150 million trust fund just to live a normal life with his family.
Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly planning to relocate to the United States. There were also claims that they were moving to Malibu.
The rumor-debunking site pointed out the lack of “historic announcement” about Prince Harry and Markle quitting their royal lives after their Commonwealth tour. In addition, it would be unreasonable for the expectant dad to give up his wealth if he wanted to give his own family a good life.
Prince Harry and Markle didn’t give up their royal lives. However, the couple announced that they were moving out of Kensington Palace. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to live in their Frogmore house in Windsor. They will be moving into their new home before Markle’s due date.
There were rumors that Prince Harry and Markle no longer wanted to live near Prince William and Kate Middleton. Some claimed that the two duchesses have a rift. Others said that the tension was between the two princes.
The fab four reunited on Christmas Day for the royals’ annual morning service in Sandringham. Middleton and Markle appeared friendly. They were photographed smiling and chatting. However, Prince William and Prince Harry were very distant and looked “ill at ease.”
