Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Won’t Leave Kensington Palace For This Shocking Reason
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have no plans to leave Kensington Palace contrary to initial reports.
Martin Coulter, a journalist for Daily Star, said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are eyeing a lavish 21-room apartment ahead of their baby’s arrival because they want to have a bigger home in the near future.
The property that the royal couple wants to live in is currently owned by the Duke of Gloucester, 74, and his wife, Birgitte, 72. A royal insider revealed that the latter doesn’t want to leave the property. And if she doesn’t it means that Prince Harry and Markle won’t leave Kensington Palace anytime soon.
“Birgitte doesn’t want to leave. And why should she? She and her husband are still full-time working members of The Firm and they were given their apartment by Her Majesty,” the source said.
In related news, a source claimed earlier this week that Prince Harry and Markle doesn’t want to live next door to Prince William and Kate Middleton.
“Harry and Meghan want to move and need more space, but they don’t want to live next door to William and Catherine. They will soon have separate offices and separate lives, so it would make sense for them to live further afield,” the source told Daily Mail.
In recent weeks, there have also been reports about Prince Harry and Markle separating from Prince William and Middleton workwise. Alice Scarsi, a journalist for Express, claimed that the royal siblings are also looking into the possibility of creating separate courts to better reflect their very different duties and needs.
“The brothers have learned on each other and looked after each other since their mother died. But now they have their own families, they no longer rely on each other as before,” a source said.
A second source said that the arrival of Prince Harry and Markle’s baby is what will trigger the formal division.
