Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby hasn’t been born yet, but the child is already changing history and altering Queen Elizabeth II’s traditional monarchy.

According to royal experts, the child’s birth will mark the beginning of a new era. Even though the baby will most likely never get a chance to reign like Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children, some believe the baby will create a new perspective for the British people.

CNN Royal correspondent Max Foster revealed Meghan and Harry’s baby will have dual citizenship in the US and UK.

“Lots of foreigners have married into the British Royal family in its 1,000-year history. But never before has an American like Meghan Markle married into this level of British royalty, and her baby will technically be a US citizen,” he explained.

“So this baby, whose mother is also a woman of color, will be breaking new ground without even realizing it,” Foster added.

Although Baby Sussex will become seventh in line to the throne upon his or her birth and won’t have as many responsibilities as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, he or she may be just as important in the eyes of the public.

Foster revealed Prince Harry’s current popularity among the British people will extend to his first born child. “That’s because so many people remember Harry has a young boy with his head bowed walking behind Princess Diana’s coffin, his mother’s coffin of course.”

“Because of that experience, so many Brits around the world want to see a happy ending to that story,” he added.

Meghan and Prince Harry have not shared their baby’s exact due date with the public, however, the baby is expected to be born in spring 2019.
