As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gear up to officially return to their roles within the British royal family, some experts believe that one particular area will be a "key indicator" of how they plan to move forward after this six-week hiatus.

According to Express, the upcoming 2020 official launch of their Sussex Royal Foundation will show how they "wish to continue their roles within the royal family." This, says royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, will highlight their "intentions."

"It all depends on what they mean to do with the Sussex Royal Foundation, where it will be based, what celebrity links there will be and whether it will have a branch in the USA," the royal watcher elaborated.

Continuing, he added, "There are likely to be important celebrity links to their future charitable work such as Harry's collaborating with Oprah Winfrey for a TV documentary series on mental health due to be aired this year." The Duke and the former "Oprah Winfrey Show" host announced the aforementioned upcoming Apple TV+ project in April 2019 as they had a shared interest around the topic.

The publication also stated that the royals have been diligently working while on their break to "ensure Sussex Royal has as global a reach as possible." This sentiment was furthered by a report that the Duchess had recently been in touch with a specific partner from her life prior to marrying Prince Harry in May 2018.

However, it remains to be seen if the couple will remain in the family as some have suggested that they could be forced to take a drastic step if they made a certain life choice down the road. However, it is possible that Queen Elizabeth II could prevent such a thing from occurring.
