Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s Son Archie Ironically Looks Like Estranged Grandfather Thomas Markle

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released a new photo of their 7-month-old son, Archie, on New Year’s Eve.

In the snap, the adorable royal is wearing winter clothes paired with his UGG boots and a bonnet. Eagle-eyed netizens immediately noticed how Archie resembled his estranged grandfather, Thomas Markle Sr., in the snap.

Other than comparing Archie’s appearance to the appearance of his grandfather, some royal fans also highlighted the fact that the two haven’t met. They also placed the blame on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“Looks like his grandpa. You know, the one his father never met and his mother won’t acknowledge,” Twitter user @Constituents18 said.

“That kid is the spitting image of Thomas Markle. The irony,” Twitter user @raggmopp4 said.

“Archie looks exactly like his maternal grandfather Thomas Markle. It’s good news for Mr. Markle, at least he can see his gorgeous grandson looks like him and has his daughter Meghan’s stunning features,” Twitter user @Joywesey said.

“Archie looks like Thomas Markle, who he will never meet and Meghan’s original nose,” Twitter user @DuchessLies said.

The Duchess of Sussex has not spoken to her dad in over a year. In November, Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., told Daily Mail that he hopes his sister would reach out to their dad.

Thomas Jr. also denied the claims that Markle spoke to their dad after he suffered a heart attack. The former also threw shade at Prince Harry’s wife for forgetting what their dad has done for her.

“But what she needs to remember is that she is only in Buckingham Palace with Harry because of her dad. He paid for her education and fancy clothes. He helped her become the exceptional woman she is, and I beg her to recognize that,” Thomas Jr. said.

Following the birth of Archie, Thomas Sr. pleaded with Markle to allow her to meet his grandson. However, this has not yet happened.
