Meghan Markle Reportedly Surprised Kate Middleton With ‘Special Present’ To Celebrate Their ‘Friendship’

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton may no longer be in the best of terms, but they used to be good friends with each other.

When the Duchess of Sussex first joined the royal family, she reached out to the Duchess of Cambridge by trying to solidify their budding friendship.

According to Town & Country, before Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot, Archie’s mom surprised Middleton with a friendship bracelet to acknowledge how much help she has given to her and Prince Harry.

The jewelry, which is called the Kensington Bracelet, was designed by Zofia Day, a California-based brand, and it costs $450.

Markle also gave six of her closest friends the exact same bracelet after they allowed their kids to be part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding entourage. Jessica Mulroney and Benita Litt are just two of Markle’s pals that received the gift.

Meanwhile, this friendship bracelet isn’t the only gift that Markle has ever given to Middleton. For the Duchess of Cambridge’s 35^th birthday, Prince Harry’s wife gave her a dreamy diary.

“Meg had bought Kate a small birthday present – a very smart leather-bound ‘dream diary’ for her thoughts and ideas which Kate loved,” a source told The Sun.

However, things quickly changed between Markle and Middleton shortly after the former’s royal wedding. Not only did the two female royals stop talking to each other; there are also rumors suggesting that they have been snubbing each other.

Prince William’s wife just celebrated her 38^th birthday on Jan. 9, but she didn’t invite Prince Harry and Markle to her party. And when the Duchess of Cambridge expressed her desire for her kids to spend more time with their cousin Archie, her request seemingly fell on deaf ears.

In fact, New Idea claimed that Markle banned Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis from seeing Archie because she thinks they are “dirty.” However, this claim should be taken with a grain of salt.
