Meghan Markle Shock: Thomas Allegedly Wants Girlfriend To Help Him Fix Relationship With Harry's Wife

Meghan Markle has a complicated relationship with her dad, Thomas Markle. The father-and-daughter duo was, reportedly, close during the Duchess of Sussex’s younger years. However, things started to change when the retired lighting director, allegedly, staged paparazzi photos before her wedding and shared a personal letter from Meghan without considering what effect his actions might have on Prince Harry’s wife.

Entertainment Tonight, previously, revealed that Meghan and Prince Harry “begged” Thomas not to speak to the media. This, according to the report, is the reason why the parents of Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor were shocked after learning about his interview with Piers Morgan on “Good Morning Britain” in June 2018.

"It came as a surprise. They were not given advanced warning," the source told the media outlet. "They understand he has been harassed by the paparazzi 24/7 but it’s hard for them to accept his apology when he’s again taking cash," it continued.

Recently, Woman’s Day New Zealand published a report saying that Thomas hopes his new girlfriend could help him fix his relationship with Meghan. The entertainment news outlet claimed that the former husband of Doria Ragland is, now, moving on from his failed marriage. However, there are limited details about the identity of Thomas’s latest partner.

“Thomas has been dating an American woman for the past few months, who he met at his complex in Rosarito, Mexico,” a source told the publication. “They’ve known each other for a while. Their friendship developed into a romance, with Thomas telling friends how he hopes she can help connect him and Meghan, so he can say to her she has a new stepmom,” it went on.

To recall, Dame Edna Everage claimed, in Sept. 2019, that she is seeing Meghan Markle’s dad. The Aussie star dropped the news during a press conference for her national tour. She even said that Thomas divides his time between America and Mexico.

Dame Edna even described him as an “older” and “not well known” man. She even shared she thinks her relationship with Thomas Markle will end up in Buckingham Palace. “Do you realize that if I do tie the knot with Tommy, I will be 17th in line for the throne. So he suggested we go down to his local jeweler and have our heads measured for crowns, just in case. Queen Edna and King Thomas, it sounds good, doesn’t it?” she said, per The Chronicle Australia.

Meghan Markle and Thomas Markle have yet to comment on these reports.
