Meghan Markle had a new hairstyle during her latest outing with Prince Harry.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out together to attend the Coach Core Awards in London on Monday. For the occasion, Markle donned an Oscar de la Renta top, Altzurra pants and heels. Prince Harry matched his wife by wearing a black coat and pants.

For the outing, the former "Suits" star ditched her curls and chose to straighten her hair. She also went for a middle parting instead of her usual side-swept fringe, Express noted.

This is a surprising change from Markle's usual hairstyles. The duchess has naturally curly locks and admitted in 2011 that she gets a Brazilian blowout to straighten her hair. "My mum is black and my dad is Dutch and Irish, so the texture of my hair is densely curly," Markle said. "I've been getting Brazilian blowouts for a couple of years."

Meanwhile, some are looking closely at Markle's hair for signs of good news to come. According to Myka Meier, Markle's hairstyle can be an indication of whether she's pregnant or not. The royal etiquette expert suggested that the duchess might wear her hair in a bun or curl it instead as she would not be able to use hair straightening products when she's expecting.

"We don’t know what she does to treat her hair now but it is likely she uses a keratin or a Brazilian treatment to straighten it," Meier explained. "As soon as she gets pregnant she will no longer be able to use those same products, which could be very interesting. I think we'll see her wearing more of a bun when that happens, which could be a tell-tale sign she is pregnant as she'll no longer be able to use those stringent chemicals that are often used for that beautiful glossy look."

In related news, Marke also recently showed off her sporty side by playing basketball in heels. Due to this, many compared the new royal to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton, who is also fond of playing sports in wedge sandals or heeled boots.

In 2012, the Duchess of Cambridge was photographed playing with the members of St. Andrew's school's hockey team. In one snap, the royal mom of three can be seen running in heeled boots during her visit to Pangbourne, Berkshire.

In 2014, Middleton was seen playing cricket like a pro in her red peplum suit and court heels during a tour in New Zealand. In 2016, Prince William's wife played cricket and even completed an obstacle course with a football in her wedge sandals.
