Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not yet made an announcement regarding their baby’s arrival. As such, royal fans are divided when it comes to whether or not the Duchess of Sussex has already given birth.

But the newest clue has revealed that Markle would have already given birth before May 8. During her trip to Birkenhead earlier this year, the Duchess of Sussex told royal fans that she is scheduled to give birth sometime at the end of April or the beginning of May. Her estimate is actually correct.

On May 8, Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, will travel to the Netherlands for a royal engagement. He will stay in the country until May 9, which means that Markle would’ve already given birth by then. Prince Harry is expected to be in the same room while his wife gives birth so he won’t miss his child’s arrival no matter what.

Last month, reports also swirled that Prince Harry freed up his schedule to make sure that he would be around while Markle is in labor. But on Easter Sunday, Prince Harry attended a church service with the other members of the royal family at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Three days later, Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at the Anzac Day memorial service with Kate Middleton. The Duke of Sussex was not scheduled to attend the gathering but he had a change of heart at the last minute.

Prince Harry’s decision to attend the two royal events suggested that Markle didn’t give birth on Easter Sunday and last Wednesday. This also means that the “Suits” alum’s firstborn does not share the same birthday with Queen Elizabeth II. The monarch turned 93 years old on Easter Sunday.

But since Markle’s window for giving birth lasts until the first week of May, there is also a possibility that she hasn’t given birth yet. Baby Sussex may still share its birth with Princess Charlotte on May 2, and the baby would definitely arrive before May 8.
